What percentage of grades would you have to get on SACs and exams to get a 20-40 ATAR?

I’ve been thinking about how my percentage grades impact my ATAR. Overall, I’m doing okay with my grades throughout the year, and I feel okay about some of my exam performances as well. Still, I’m curious about the average percentages needed to achieve certain ATAR ranges.

For instance, what kind of percentage averages on SACs and the exams would lead to someone getting an ATAR between 20 and 40? I want to understand how scaling works and what percentage benchmarks correspond to different ATAR outcomes.
