Trying to determine if my service would be useful...
I’m exploring an idea and would appreciate insight from practicing attorneys.
Concept: a behind-the-scenes support service for solo and small-firm attorneys focused on:
• Organizing and tracking case documents
• Maintaining consistent client communication (updates, follow-ups, appointment reminders)
• Providing administrative support without hiring full-time staff
Not legal work or paralegal services... strictly admin, communication, organization support to keep the firm running smoothly and clients informed. I plan to learn Clio, MyCase, and PantherPartner so that I could organize the documents to their preferences.
I'm thinking it will reduce admin overload, improve client satisfaction, and give attorneys more time for actual legal work.
Questions:
- Is this something you'd realistically use or consider?
- What specific tasks or pain points would matter most?
- Red flags or reasons this wouldn't fit into your workflow?
- Would you prefer a flat monthly service, hourly, or per-case structure?
Any feedback helps. I'm trying to validate need before investing more time and resources.
