December baby, what to wear for mom and baby? [qc]

Hello everyone,

I'm due in early december and I have not clue what my baby (and myself) should be wearing. I've checked the monthly weather and it should be around 2 degrees or -7.

I got a couple of newborn fleece onesies (with socks, mittens and hat) but should I get a fleece blanket and a car seat cover (like petit coulou) ?

Note that we will park inside the hospital and to get back home, we will be parking in our driveway, so we should not be outside in the element for too long.

As for me, my feet have gotten bigger so I only fit in one pair of sneakers and they are getting tighter by the day. I dont think I'll fit in my winter boots at all! What are you all wearing as for winter foot wear?
