Is my house too cold?

First timer here and I've been reading lots of posts, watching videos etc to make my first starter today.

However, I'm afraid my house is too cold... It's fall where I live.. so outside temperatures are low. We like our house on the colder side. During the daytime the temperature is set to 16,5-17 degrees celsius (some may say were crazy but most days I even feel too hot inside the house, very well insulated....). During the night it's set to 16 degrees..

So everywhere I'm reading room temperature but I'm sure my room temp is not what others understand room temperature to be 😅 so now I'm afraid that the house is too cold to make a starter, and that it won't develop... What can I do to keep the starter a bit warmer? Any tips to make this work?
