Do 45 ACP cans work better for 9mm PCC's than actual dedicated 9mm Cans?

Im currently deciding between an Obsidian 45 and Obsidian 9. I have heard some things here and there about how 45 cans work better for 9mm when you change out the endcap to be the right bore size. Anybody have any experience with that?
