Feeling of boredom or general lacklustre in life

Burner account here. Thanks to this group, lots of reading and support I'm 3 years sober next month.

It's been tough in many ways but with fantastic benefits and ranks in the best things I've even done in my 51 years on earth.

Lately I've been struggling with nagging feelings of boredom and lacklustre. I know form this group that it's not uncommon. I'm interested to hear how others have solved this.

So far, what has worked for me is things in the future to look forward to. Usually a vacation or event. I worry that each time the event passes I'm left really depressed and rudderless in the weeks following the event. I worry feel that the need for constant future events isn't a healthy way to live.

I'm also looking for some input that will help me describe it to my therapist when I see her next week.

Thanks in advance for any comment.
