Phonak rechargeable devices - How many years do the batteries last

Hello everyone!

I intend to purchase a Phonak Audeo Infinio hearing aid these days(r70 or r50).

But I am in doubt about rechargeable batteries. I understood from my audiologist that it would last around 5 years and then the cost of the repair is the same as the cost of a new device, which seemed a bit exaggerated.

Can you help me with some information if you know or have had experience related to battery life/repair?
