Losing my mind here man. Can somebody please help me calm down about this stupid texting situation with a girl?
I (32m) met a girl (30f) on a walk earlier in the summer, we tried to hang out during the summer but schedules didn’t align. We finally got together last week and took a walk together and it was amazing. Easy convos, very aligned, she came back to my place after and we hung out even more.
I walked her back to her apartment in my complex and she jokingly told me she left her gloves at my place so that we would see each other again. At this point I’m excited and it feels like this could be something good.
We texted a bit in the following days, and she apologized for being a “bad texter” after there were some delays in her response (a couple hours mostly, the next day in one instance). I told her NBD, and that I appreciated that she doesn’t live on her phone. All good, all fine.
But I sent her a text yesterday evening when I got home (a video of my dog being happy to see me - she met my dog when we took our walk) and haven’t heard anything back. Getting pretty anxious about her lack of response. I want to not care, but I really like her. And it seemed she liked me too! Why else would she leave her gloves??
We had been sending each other pics from Wednesday after the date through Saturday. And then just crickets. How do you not let things like this bother you?
