Important Safety Update – Tirzepatide 27mg Vials

We have been made aware of a voluntary pharmacy-initiated recall for ProRx-compounded tirzepatide, SPECIFICALLY the 27mg/3mL (9mg/mL) strength.

Per the pharmacy: This voluntary recall means it is not FDA-forced, but a proactive pharmacy review. This notice applies ONLY to this specific tirzepatide strength and lot.

The pharmacy has also advised that no adverse events have been reported.

We have already escalated this to pharmacy management and are currently awaiting their official statement and guidance, which they have advised will be released soon. This is currently a developing situation.
