Entering the Late Game... Continue pushing my primary Push team, or my Elminster AA Push team?

Party 2 / fully-supercharged Modest Core is reliably z1600+ now, and I keep variations of this composition gradually chipping away at Mirt, Varja, Strahd, and Zariel when there aren't Events to work on. There aren't any variants I skip on these, because of the low level requirements + availability + "there's always SOME DPS and plenty of buffers available."

Party 3 / just-now-supercharged Magic Core is the AA team, ALWAYS doing Elminster variants. I'm avoiding the "reducing slots every XX zones" variants entirely for now; but generally completing several per day when I'm near this PC. Since the availability is naturally getting harder and harder I've recently been putting ALL of my BSCs in here.

So am I wasting BSCs by focusing so hard on AA+Elminster? NGL, the first time I dropped 500K Elminster-bucks on his chests was pretty damned satisfying...

Do I let my AA team pass my primary Push team? I love BG3, but Durge just doesn't have the power creep that Arty+Val deliver.

I don't want to get thousands more iLvls in and then regret that I should have just kept pouring into Artemis/Val/death bunny & co. Seems like others around here have probably already had this dilemma -- if there even IS a dilemma to be had.
