What’s your opinion on vaccines?

What does everyone think about getting vaccines for Covid and Flu? I had Covid twice this year (I was told this could have influenced my recently diagnosed type1). I’ve never had a Flu vaccine, and during the pandemic I got vaccinated for Covid twice- only got sick with it for the first time since the pandemic this year in February and September.

My family doctor told me that I should get vaccinated for both. I live in a cold climate in Europe so flu season starts here around September-October, Covid as well, and lasts until March-April.

I’m not sure how I feel about either of those. I’m a supporter of vaccines, however, for these two types I’m not so sure since they vaccinate for the most common strands. So, I’m interested in hearing your opinion on this topic and whether you get vaccinated.
