Just a rant

It was only supposed to be a rant,
And that's what it should've been,
Until I started to speak,
And suddenly, I could actually feel seen.

I spoke and spoke and spoke a lot,
You heard me like there's no tomorrow,
Never disrupting, never suggesting,
And I saw you feel my sorrow.

Somehow, the demons i was hiding,
And those i couldn't even mention,
Were let out without me noticing,
As if that was always the intention.

Then my heart felt lighter,
As if the burden upon me was all but gone,
And you just stood there, lovingly,
I could see your care, and your patience for me, actually won.
