Is the Australia defence at the 31st minute for the Ben Earls held up the worst play by a Wallaby team ever, or, what is Defence coach Lord Laurie doing?

I genuinely think the play, to wheel the scrum to the left, and then have no defenders on the right, only for Sua'alli'i to concede all ground just for Jorgo to make a tackle 30m down field off a set-piece, is the worst defence play by a test team I've ever seen.
