2019 KLX250 Sticky Throttle - Not Cables or Grip

help please!

My 2019 KLX250 has a sticky throttle. I noticed it when riding again after a couple week break, but fiddling with the cable adjusters at the grip or taking apart the throttle grip seemed to fix it. Now however, it's extremely hard to pull and does not snap back on its own. I pulled the cables and gave them a good lube with some cable lubricant, and also reassembled the throttle grip with the same lube.

I noticed that the issue still showed when I had the cables completely disconnected though, making me think it's not the cables or grip assembly. This is where my knowledge ends- but reading around online it seems like the throttle body could be the issue? Maybe the spring has an issue or it has some gunk in it?

Here is a video showing the sticking on the throttle with the cover off. The cables have slack on either side, so it makes me think it's not them.
