Mysterious Cookie Gift

In the life building, randomly, my friend and I were walked up to by a woman who told us she was the “food manager” of the life building (I think that’s what she said). Then she gave us caramel chocolate cookies from subway, said we looked lovely, and left. I didn’t see her give cookies to anyone else, so I’m a bit perplexed. Is there such a thing as a “food manager”? Should I eat this mysterious cookie? Questions, questions.
