Are bags in India really functional enough for daily use?

I’ve been observing that most bags in India (especially women’s handbags and backpacks) are more about looks than actual usability — poor compartments, bad straps, not water-resistant, etc. I’m thinking of designing something more functional — maybe modular, waterproof, and comfortable — that still looks stylish. What do you think is missing in Indian bags right now? If you had to describe your perfect everyday bag, what would it have (or not have)? Curious to hear honest thoughts — especially from people who commute, travel, or use their bags daily.
