Harlan Tyrell had hoped, certainly naively, that he could have marched and become a hero, that he would earn his spurs on the battlefield and be able to return to his Kyra's arms and heart as a Knight she could be proud to marry.

Instead he had been told to wait at Highgarden. The Ironborn incursion had forced the necessity of the creation of a defence force and, loyal as ever, Harlan remained by his Knight's side.

Today however he has come to a decision and has made a plan. He raised early in the mornign and practiced until he was drenched in sweat. He then bathed and prepared his equipment and that of Lord Samwell. Finally he passed a message to the Lord of Horn Hill requesting his attention at the sparring grounds in Highgarden at a time that suited him.
