Elite Talent Management (Acting agency based in Tornoto) My Extremely Bad Experience, Should I just expect this behavior with all agents?

Im a beginning actor, I was taken on by an agency based in Toronto after an in person audition months ago. My experience with this agency however, was horrible. And below is a review I put on their website. I'd just like to ask, is this really how I should just expect to get treated by an agency? And now that the contract was dropped, where do I go from here?

"Elite Talent Management" There is nothing elite about it. My time spent with this agency was full of disrespect, degradation, and disgusting behavior.

Firstly, Sevag Sagherian boasts that his company is five stars and you should be so thankful he took you on, when really, all of these reviews fall under the conflict of interest category. They all work with, and some are directly related to, Sevag. None of these reviews is honest nor real.

Secondly, Sevag can't hold himself from degrading you if you don't get exactly what he wants, but when you message the gmail and ask for advice (that they "encourage" you to message and ask) you get treated with blatant disrespect and insults. Never once apologizing for his behavior.

In calls, Sevag likes to tell you how lucky you are to be taken under his wing, "but don't let it get to your head" while actively boasting projects nobody has heard about to make himself sound better and more credible.

He has no respect for your time, struggle, and effort, treating me as if I were a machine, not a person. I sent in over 60+ photos taken with a friend in the small time we had managed to get between her college classes, and sent them as requested.. Sevag disrespected my friend's time and ability taking these photos, telling me to do better.

When it came to auditions, my current place is not suited for desired shots requested in auditions, sevag requested I find a way and get it done.. and with that I did, I got time at other peoples houses to fit in requested auditions, what did sevag have to say about me succeeding in his task despite issues i was having, and explaining those issues to him? He called my struggles "Excuses" and said that I should be trying harder. And the sprinkle on top was the manipulative "You should be thankful I took you on to my 5-star agency".. truly a pathetic way to treat a teenager.

Despite requesting him to talk to my father about the contract and situation, Sevag said he didn't need to as I was freshly 18 so my father's word and view didn't matter. This was after months of being 17 and neither my father nor my mother being called despite being told they would be when I was initially scouted in February 2025.

I've had many view these calls and messages between me and Sevag, including my neighbors, siblings, and friends, all coming to the same conclusion; Sevag is Arrogant. As well as many other words I don't want to put into this review, they aren't so nice.

My contract was dropped due to a review I didn't post, so with that, I thought I should post a review of my own.

! WARNING FOR PARENTS ! I strongly suggest you keep your kids far away from this Agency, as from my first-hand experience, I can only describe it as leeches.

Your kids are valued, and deserve an agent who treats them like the human beings they are, elite talent management's talent, is treating you like a property.

One day I hope to create a system to build people up, and help them reach their dreams, so no kid has to go through the struggle of your dream being held on a lure in front of your head, treating you like a pawn, at an agency like this.

I'm thankful for the experience I gained At Elite Talent Management, as I now have a prime example of who not to trust.
