One day, they’re going to reboot Spider-Man again, and if it turns into a franchise, they’ll have to try and cast the Green Goblin.

I honestly don’t know how Dafoe could ever be followed up, that man just is Norman Osborn and the Green Goblin, and it’s not like they’ll be able to do a big Spider-Man franchise without the Goblin, it can be argued that he and Venom (Ock is a solid #2 at best, I think.) are like THE premier Spider-Man nemises, but how do you follow up Raimi Spider-Man and NWH Norman? Who would you even cast? Dafoe was so perfect for the role, I think he played both sides to perfection. Unless they make Harry the Goblin from the jump like in Amazing 2 which…I’m not totally soured against, but it definitely didn’t work the first time.
