Property Company Claiming we Broke Items at University House

We are 5 students currently living in a university house in Brighton we moved into at the end of September and have an issue with the agency.

They have claimed no damages we have reported were there before we moved in, even tho we reported them the day we moved into the property and took pictures. There is black mold in the bathroom and furniture broken.

We are more concerned about not losing our entire deposit and if possible getting necessary repairs made, any advice would be much appreciated.
