For those who have slow faded with PIMI family…

How did you tell your family that you were celebrating holidays? I think some pimi family has suspicions that we have been celebrating holidays for a couple years. For the last couple years we have just dodged questions and made sure no decorations were up if they were going to be coming to our house. But I’m tired of hiding it. I’m tired of throwing the tree in the guest room every time we have visitors or someone shows up unannounced. We set up our tree and Christmas decor of the weekend. And next weekend we have some pimi family coming. Some of our pimi family will not care. But the ones that do care is who I’m worried about. Do I let them know ahead of time so they are blindsided? Or do I I just let them show up and see it? And how should I handle the conversation? I’m so nervous
