Banned From POF

Yesterday I received automated message from POF that stated “Recommend Matches” no big deal as I have received before. I click on the link to see their profiles and log into the website. Immediately I receive a notification my account was banned. I assumed it had to be an AI error or something minor so I contacted by submitting an Appeal form as it suggested on their website. I then received a reply stating that my Ban will remain! They sent their Community Guidelines and I reviewed there was nothing there I violated. My age, my one picture was a business professional shot because that was what I had available, I didn’t ask for money, I didn’t misrepresent myself, I didn’t say anything that was violating, provocative or misleading. I was creeped out.

The only thing I could think of is I was communicating with someone and I asked if they wanted to talk offline—-they got back to me saying because I looked like a business nerd and if I liked wild sex. I was kinda surprised so I ignored the question and responded to them asking what they did over the weekend and what types of interests they had. It was two weeks later, yesterday when I tried to log into and learned I was banned.

I am wondering if this person was angry because they felt blown off? Is this revenge because I wasn’t responding? POF will not respond to me even after asking for their reason. Anyone else have this experience?
