Deluxe resorts questions

Hi everyone! I have two questions for those of you who’ve stayed at Disney Deluxe resorts :

• Extended Evening Theme Park Hours : how do they actually work? I know they’re not every night, so if you’re only staying a couple of nights at a Deluxe, you really need to plan it right to make the most of the perk, right? Also, is renting DVC points worth it for a very short stay, or does it just make things more complicated?

• Which Deluxe would you pick? Let’s say you’re staying 7 nights at Caribbean Beach, and you want to add 2 extra nights in a Deluxe, which one would you choose?

Personally, the ones that appeal to me most are BoardWalk and Beach/Yacht Club. But since they’re in a similar area to CBR, part of me thinks it might be nice to change it up a bit.

I’m not super drawn to the Magic Kingdom area resorts, though maybe I should be? And then there’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, which I know is really loved, but after a week of Skyliner convenience, I’m not sure how I’d handle being “bus only”

Curious to hear what others think ! How would you split it, and what would feel like the best ending to a Disney trip?
