Iced out in my grad school and no one will be honest with me

Support Needed (Kind Advice and Commiseration)

I'm in my first year of law school, and I absolutely hate it--not academically, but socially. I was very lucky to have a group of ND friends in college whom I loved, but I've really struck out on making friends in law school, and I'm just feeling very sad about it.

I sit in an area of the room with about 6 different women, 2 of whom have never liked me since the first week of class. They have always iced me out, never been happy when speaking to me, etc. At first, it was fine because the other women seemed ok with pursuing friendships with me regardless, and one of the women seemed really similar to me, enough so that we got on quite well.

However, as time has passed, I've been completely iced out. I admitted to the one girl that I did speak to that I didn't see myself clicking with the 2 women that didn't like me, and everyone has clearly picked up on the fact that I'm now roadkill because of these two women. They have separate group chats with every woman except me, which they text on during class and laugh/make comments about over my head (literally over my head--I'm shorter than them). The one woman whom I really liked has started to take offense at/write off everything I say, even though we've never fought nor had an actual problem--she has made it pretty clear she's not as interested in being close friends with me as the others. The two girls who didn't like me much now are straight up rude to me or ignore me in such an obvious way, like will turn around and not speak to me at all.

I would find it less hurtful if I didn't have to sit right there, but I sit right next to them in every class, literally in the middle of the group, and they will laugh and joke to each other like I'm not even sitting there. It's even more hurtful because they still make somewhat of an effort to speak to me/I make an effort to speak to them.

I haven't struggled to make friends like this/been iced out like this since middle school; I tend to be pretty good at masking so I didn't struggle much for friendship in college. But the smaller environment/change in vibes is really hurting me. I feel like everyone treats me as though I'm beyond stupid (the whole group is also competitive and looks down on me because I didn't perform as well on midterms as they did) or like I'm 5. I have to sit in the middle of this group for a month, and it's genuinely making me hate law school even more than I already do. I just feel so so sad and left out.
