First time building a PC | £1600 budget (UK)

After years of using my Mac laptop and gaming on consoles, deciding to take the plunge and build my first PC as a hobby. Looking for something that will last for years, and also something I'd be proud of and enjoy spending time on. Gaming on my Mac just doesn't have the same feel. Any advice would be appreciated!
