Pregnant with pcos: prometrium

Hello me and my boyfriend are trying for a baby, but i do have irregular periods with pcos and they put me on progesterone to induce a period, but when i asked if it will make me ovulate the nurse said have intercourse every other day. What did they mean by that? also, what medicine or methods got you pregnant?
