Deciding between two insurance policies

We are a family of 4, two little kids and a lot of doctors appts in WA State. We are looking to switch from my husbands Premera Blue Cross plan to my companies Blue Shield of CA plan. I’ve talked to multiple colleagues outside of CA who say they don’t have any issues with the Blue Shield PPO plan but I’d love other insights.
