beginner subtle makeup items

hello! christmas is coming up and i wanted to get my gf some makeup. i am not a makeup person, have never worn it. she is trans mtf but lives in a conservative home. however shes been expressing more and more how she wishes she could do some eye looks. what are some beginner items for simple, subtle eye looks? maybe blushes and other things like that too. this is definitely experimenting for her so im looking for a liner or pallete that has a wider range of shades. her favorite colors are purple and black. shes filipino with caramel skin, dark brown hair and eyes. thanks!!!
