Ash and their name?

I didn’t think much of it in worms “gonna bleach my eyebrows, change my name” (Although she did actually bleach her eyebrows) But in It Girl I noticed the line “…I go blacksmith on my cage, I go naysay on my name” So it made me curious, maybe this is referring to themselves being more aligned with “Ashnikko” over their birth name? Whatcha think?
