I don't imagine many of you will be attacking people, but for self-defense against a person, you may only use a shovel as a weapon. No knives, firearms, bats, pepper spray, etc.

You must be able to lift the shovel with your hands. That means you can use a tactical shovel if you want, or a garden shovel, or even a plastic beach shovel.

No hiding other weapons inside your shovel! That's just a weapon disguised as a shovel!

You can still use other weapons against non-humans, if you'd like.
