I'm exhausted trying to make new friends

I'm exhausted trying to make new friends. I put myself out there and show an interest in others but it doesn't go anywhere or isn't reciprocated. I feel lonely not having a tribe to call my own in my early 30s. I feel like I'm doing something wrong or am I just like born missing out on something everyone else knows about friendships that I didn't get the handbook on. I'm just rather depressed about it all. I guess I'm just venting or wanting to know if anyone else feels this way and how they cope with it.
