Do we need Batman in London?

Just been seeing quite a lot more small crimes in my neighborhood lately, the classic phone snatching, harassment, burglary, etc. The police is too understaffed to investigate small crimes, and even if they do arrest someone, there’s not much they can do.

But if we had someone wearing a mask breaking peoples legs every time they snatched a phone or attacked someone, I bet crimes would go down by a lot, they would have to think twice before doing anything.

The thing though is that it’s illegal to carry weapons, so we can’t defend ourselves since criminals obviously have weapons. And it’s not like it’s possible to fight against a mob while calling the police at the same time, and it’s not like the police can just teleport to your location.

What do you guys think about having vigilantes? Do we need them to help solve crime in london?

I’m obviously just venting, don’t become vigilantes guys.
