Fabric paint/marker recs

Hi guys, as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend I was thinking of attempting to recreate a tote or jacket like the custom ones that the brand Bode does. I’m curious what medium Bode uses on their items, and I’ve been trying to research the best paint/markers for different kinds of fabric. Anyone have any suggestions?
