Long post, apologies. I feel strongly about this lol

tl;dr: BR map segments as CQ maps are **phenomenal** and should be officially hosted and supported on the multiplayer tab.

I'm sure everyone has seen it by now, but "kurtinthegrind"'s Conquest mode on Golf Course has proven to me that BF6 has what we've wanted for so long. (experience code: z2wxc)

I had more fun in the hour or so that I played it (before Portal took a shit and kicked us all) than I've had at any point on BF6.

There was some concern that the BR map design would make CQ play poorly. I'm happy to tell you that it's simply not the case. It plays very, very well. There are some balance quirks to figure out, but honestly the balance is no worse than any other map in this game. The design is actually rather stunning and engaging. A few points:

* The vantage points are interesting and offer unique attack angles
   * The size of the map keeps them from being frustrating and broken like the buildings on Sobek and the bridge on Manhattan, you can always just circumvent
* The capture zones are large and offer up that "hunt 'em down" Splinter Cell style intensity that someone in this sub mentioned a couple days ago
* Huge adventures are not only possible but probable after every spawn
* Vehicle warfare feels balanced and every engagement is unique
   * Mines still work, but are less annoying because of the different optional paths
* Squad decision-making is valuable and necessary
   * Squad leader can actually make meaningful choices despite not having a ton of real mechanics, it's a problem that solves itself
   * Route-planning is fun and adds a totally new dimension to the game
* Stealth maneuvering on foot or on a 4-wheeler is strong yet intense as you try to stay off the main paths
* Sandbox gameplay is possible and could eventually be necessary as the meta evolves. Trying something new isn't discouraged by insane pace of play

There are many, many small FIXABLE issues in the game. The missile bug, skin concerns, weapon balance, etc. What we all thought WASN'T fixable within a reasonable period of time was the severe lack of large maps. We figured we'd be waiting two years to see a few decent ones finally added...

But **nope**. They're here, in the game, ready to play.

**DICE just needs to officially host and support Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough modes on them,** ***permanently.***

DICE, if you're reading, you can silence half of the uproar TODAY. Take the beautiful map you've created, chop it up into pieces about as large as Golf Course, and have one of your teams balance those modes on each of them. We don't care if it's not perfect, or if people find exploits. If nothing else, start with Conquest on maybe two maps.

If they can manage it, I think we can safely say that the Battlefield we know and love will be back, with only a handful of fixes needed to seal the deal. Thanks for reading.

I know there's a lot to be frustrated about, but one dude has proven BF6 has serious potential for greatness.
