42 [M4F] Do you also get pleasure from psychological exhibitionism?

NSFWConversation

After my weekly therapy appointment, I had a thought bubble up from the ether and sit squarely in the center of my attention. I've thought about this in some form or fashion for many years but for some reason, it seemed to be very clear to me today. I realize that talking to my therapist is almost like seeing a prostitute.

To me, there are a few obvious reasons:
- A degree of companionship, fleeting as though it may be
- An outlet to share (as much or as little as one wants) the mundane, profane and foundational

- Sexual desire from either physical attraction or vulnerability and erotic transference

To be clear, she is a physically attractive woman but that fact obscured me from realizing the deeper truth: I get physically aroused sharing honest truths about myself. Facts about my life, my history, my inner mind, my philosophies, my mental health, my deepest desires and my deepest fears.

I first started to put the pieces of this theory about myself together when, in therapy one day, I talked about how whenever I journal, I get a head high and I hump the dead air gently and I touch myself. I always have a strong urge to show some other woman and have her have to process what I've expressed, regardless of how sexual or platonic it is. It's beyond self-satisfaction at seeing myself drone on - the act of expressing myself is like erotic mental masturbation.

To be blunt and narcissistic about it, I feel my nipples stiffen when I'm talking during my therapy sessions, knowing that she is taking my words in (regardless if she actually cares or is just paid to act like she does). I've felt my balls tingle when I had wide ranging conversations girlfriends and my wife, as if I'm using exploiting all the yesteryears just to make myself horny from literally verbalizing those things (regardless of the impact they had on the other).

I've teased and edge myself for hundreds of hours over the years as I crafted messages with just the right content and intention to deliver to the online partners I've connected and played with. I'm playing with myself as I write this very prompt because I know it will fall on someone else's eyes (whether or not they choose to do anything with it).

I'd really like to talk to another woman about this. Does this fascinate you, confuse you or repel you? Are you an exhibitionist in this same way and / or are you psychological voyeur when it comes to expression of inner worlds?

Reach out if this strikes a chord. If it doesn't, that's ok - I'll just be journaling about it to myself and grinding against my chair in the dark.
