MK11 Noob Saibot can't trigger frostbite with Shintai of Fortune!

I've been using MK11 Noob Saibot this krypt weak and it seems his SP2 can't trigger shintai of fortune. Is it because the SP2 is basically completed by his clone? And why doesn't his clone share his any of his equipment bonus? 🤦🏾‍♂️
