Discussion Involving Lifelong Severe PreE and Involuntary Kegels
Hi guys,
I've been trying to figure out my lifelong severe PreE off and on for the last eight years with no success, and I've been hopeful the MDG is the answer. I wanted to take the temperature in here from the guys who have achieved success (I know many have not stuck around unfortunately) for those of us with lifelong severe PreE, I'm talking like always under a minute.
Through MDG, I've become more aware of how my own personal sexual response cycle works. I realize this is obviously the difference between me and normal guys who can last a normal amount of time in intercourse. Here's how I've come to see my own PreE cycle:
Stimulus > arousal ramp up > feeling is quickly "too good" > involuntary kegels/clenching of pelvic floor and abdomen > seconds of pleasure/tingles > orgasm/ejaculation.
This is all happening for me within seconds really. It's the IKs/clenching that clearly pushes me right to the PONR. The IKs are triggered right away by the stimulus/touch/expectations.
I noticed in the beginning with MDG, it was always all or nothing for me. If I headed towards higher arousal, I immediately got IKs that would catapult me right to my PONR. So right or wrong, I'm still not sure, I've been working on maintaining a relaxed pelvic floor throughout my 20 minute sessions. I did this by using a couple of sessions to exclusively hold a pretty full reverse kegel the entire time, and now I can mostly keep a neutral pelvic floor in my sessions as long as I stay relaxed and don't go too hard, fast, or focused on the glans/frenulum.
My challenge is now to ramp up the arousal. My intuition says that it's necessary to ramp up arousal WITHOUT any IKs since my IKs are my old neural pathway to orgasm. I think it should look something like this:
Stimulus > arousal ramp up > feeling of pleasure is growing > maintain calm pelvic floor > enjoy the pleasure/plateau phase
I just haven't really seen anyone on here who's achieved control identify whether or not they have a neutral or calm pelvic floor when they're up at higher arousal during sex in what I believe is an extended Plateau Phase.
I think u/BornWeirdStrawberry would say it doesn't matter what you're body does, do what the guide says for whatever Phase you're in, but I couldn't ever get around the fact that I was immediately, involuntarily clenching to PONR without using those Reverse Kegels.
I guess to summarize, my intuition right now says I have to somehow get to higher arousal without IKs, and my reverse kegel work is what opened the door for me to have a neutral pelvic floor while receiving stimulus.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? I feel like MDG works great for guys who may have already had some semblance of a Plateau Phase; they're able to use MDG to extend and expand their Plateau Phase, but for those of us who have radically short circuited our sexual response cycle through kegel/clenching to rush to orgasm, we may need to get to a neutral pelvic floor before we can develop a Plateau Phase, maybe for the first time ever.
