AITA for wanting communication from a friend

Formed a new friendship in August. This person and I became quite close fairly quickly. They would always ask to hang out, come over, or do activities in general. All of a sudden, they went cold turkey, and I asked what happened. Their response was that they were concerned I was concerned that they had just gone cold turkey out of nowhere. I brushed it off... Fast forward another month - we are potentially making plans to take a group out on Halloween. I text on Friday... Nothing... Monday.... Nothing.... Wednesday.... Nothing.... Friday... Nothing... Then on Monday (yesterday), I said, "Are we just gonna not respond for over a week?" Their response was quite charged and making it sound like I was being crazy. I have seen them post consistently on social media in the meantime. Is this normal? I understand one, two, even three days if you are slammed with life, but over a week cold turkey, yet you still have time to use social media??
