My husband is too logical
My 23(F) husband 29(M) is a very hardworking, driven man. To put it into context he would rather work 100hr weeks (no im not kidding) than have me work at a minimum wage job. He's the type of man that has a goal and needs to accomplish it or he feels like a total failure. I do love his ambitions, always support his goals and dreams.
He started working at a big company and everyone loves him. Hes a very charming well sociable intelligent man, so who wouldnt?
Heres his downside though, he sets illogical deadlines on himself and puts himself into time crunches to reach a certain goal. If he feels like he is not attaining said goal (this revolves around monetary gain) he becomes pretty depressed. Although he would never say hes depressed or sad or upset because hes a very stoic man.
He will only get out of these fits if he finds a logical solution to his problem, something that I am not good at playing a part in.
I think this stems from me 1) being a woman 2) being very feminine 3) Caring about his internal not his external.
I try to approach his situation in an emotional manner, such as "Babe you cant race time you should just be happy with where you are at, but also strive for more". I know my words arent necessarily wrong but he does express that he is not seeking out this kind of advice.
Maybe theres no fixing to this matter but Id like to know men and womens opinions on this. Is this just a normal thing men face?
