Question: Newbie wanting to take the plunge into Kill Team

Hi All,

As the title says, I want to get into Kill Team - just casually with a few mates (all of us newbies). We mainly play Middle Earth SBG, and this is our first step into the world of 40k.

The current starter set looks like a great starting point, however I'm seeing lots of talk about a new "season", with new KT's, possible rules changes, power creep, etc. I've done some Googling, but honestly I'm still not super clear on what's going on - November seems like a busy month for KT. So my questions:

1. Should I wait a few weeks/month before making a Starter Set purchase? Ie. Can we expect a new starter set.

2. As far as power creep goes, I'm thinking this really doesn't matter for a bunch of mates playing casually. Would you agree?

3. Do you have any other tips/suggestions for a newbie?
