Nothing happened

I had my first treatment yesterday and nothing happened, it felt just like I sat there and listened to music for two hours. Does the medicine still work if it doesn’t affect you during the treatment? I really want to get better but feel like I’m not responding to the ketamine if I’m not feeling anything
