Ashley furniture warranty

Has anyone had an issue with the 5 year Ashley Furniture 5 year extended warranty? I am exactly 12 days past the 5 years and I have two rips in the leather of my couch and they will absolutely nothing about it! They say they cannot even file a claim! All I get is people in a service phone center answering the phone 😙I am so frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions?
