Lag after update

I downloaded this game last month and it's always run perfectly smooth on my PC. Tried to play it again yesterday to completely unplayable lag, like fluctuating 10 to 20 FPS in game. Turned down all graphics from epic to low and doesn't help at all. Practice range is better with 60 FPS but frequent spikes still drop the framerate for a second. Any other games I play still run perfectly fine.

Already tried verifying game files, reinstalling, restarting computer and nothing works.

Anyone else encountered something like this? Was looking through posts on here but only see things about server lag, but I'm having FPS issues, not ping issues.
