Best strat for ore?

I mined ore for the first time and my goal is to unlock combat for 100k ore but jesus, is there anyway to make the process faster? I have to deal with people shooting me in the back and on top of that those annoying penguins that literally never stop spawning, I don’t even wanna play the game anymore.
