I'm excited! I've been on GLP1's for 16 months. Presently at 15mg. I made some very dumb decisions back in December/January and got into my old eating habits. Mounjaro slowed me down, but I'm determined and I got well into my old ways. Pretty soon I didn't even notice the benefits from MJ. The T2D reared its ugly head and I found myself in a very bad place.

I am a carb addict. I chase the dragon of short-lived euphoria I get from eating a quart of ice cream with a heavy side of hot fudge.

The ONLY time I have any control over carbs is when I'm knee-deep in ketosis. Yes, I said the "K" word. It took many attempts and a few ugly T2D episodes/scares to get off carbs.

The following is not advice for you, it is MY sitch.

A year-ago May I started cutting carbs. Mid-to-late June I started the GLP1. I lost 130 pounds in about 6.5 months. Then I took a major detour and put about 40 or more pounds back on - all the while taking 15mg of MJ.

The T2D episodes hit me (I get plunges that make me feel that I'm going to pass out and not return). The fear drove me to renounce Dairy Queen and dive back in. I cut carbs to near zero. Still wanting that "binge" feeling I moved to something similar to OMAD and/or IF.

I was very happy to start feeling the old symptoms of the GLP1 again. Dry mouth is a big one. A big cut to both hunger and food noise is another. Having people tell me that I look like I've lost weight is yet another!

There was a time when I'd eat half a Costco chicken and go looking for more. Durring the last little while I'm full after something closer to 1/3 of a Costco chicken.

Putting away a 1+ pound steak has never been an issue. Today, not having eaten anything else all day, you can see how little damage I did to that T-Bone. That's embarrassing! Rookie level! But I'm thrilled to be feeling the effects of MJ again!!

If I can weigh less than I did at Christmas last year, I will be a happy camper. It would still be 50 lbs to goal, but I have learned a ton about my body during this trip.

I promise I'm not looking for advice. If anything I hope this post might help someone who had given up hope in MJ like I had. You can TOTALLY revive the effects, no matter how far you stray.

Made it this far into my steak..
