Is Rog Ally x as a basic gaming PC a good idea?

I would like to use my Ally x as a normal gaming pc every once in a while and just want to make sure I’m doing it right and that it will work good. (Not very computer intelligent).

I ordered an ivanky Dock and a 100w charger. I already have a monitor and keyboard/mouse. Is there anything else I need?
