Phasing out manua entry?

I recently learned from noom support that they are phasing out your ability to manually enter your step count.

I'm getting fed up with noom. I may cancel, but I was just recently billed for the next round. Also I will really miss their green food yellow food red food categories.

But if I can't manually enter my steps noom as almost useless
