IRS debt with mortgage

I’m trying to close on a house but owe about 16k in irs tax debt, I’m unable to do the long term payments because I cant make my DTI rise because it’ll make me too far over the accepted DTI.. any advice? Are the 180 day payoffs not subject to DTI?
