I purchased two V gold bracelets 18k white gold plated and was initially very happy.

The weight seems nice the measurements are identical to the originals and though I do feel it’s missing the ever so slight touch of warmth white gold has but overall very happy.

I was under the impression that the vgold alloy metal would match the gold it was plated with so it would be gold based or silver based for the white gold.

Thinking this I chose the white gold option (which I prefer anyway as it matches my wedding set)

I don’t mind wear because I think with these bracelets being worn gives them character and it’s part of the charm that comes with wearing a forever bracelet.

BUT what I didn’t expect is the metal to be pink under the plating.

Upon seeing this I did message her and ask her first before showing her the photos what color should be underneath the plating she said “white”

Then after I showed her the photos she explained that the v gold is mixed metals and then I think she was trying to explain it’s vgold then an alloy covering and then the plating .

She said she would file a complaint with after sale service.

I don’t truly know if this is my fault for not understanding or if she’s trying to cover her butt because she sees the damage. Either way this review isn’t to bash her in any way just to share the quality because I put money into these pieces and and I want others to know this will happen if they do the same.
