The first game is genuinely kinda terrible

I’m new to the series and I’m playing all the games and I thought I was gonna hate the series because after the first game I was genuinely tired. But the 2nd game is honestly so amazing so far that I feel the need to rant about the first game. First off the story is very hard to follow and a lot of the bosses are either insanely easy or ridiculously hard. Most bosses don’t feel like a skill check, they just feel like artificial difficulty. The boss rush at the end had me genuinely tweaking. It’s kinda crazy jumping into the second game and having a genuine blast at how much more refined the gameplay got. So if you’re doing what I’m doing and starting from the beginning it gets better
